Seems like she is redirecting the blame to where it belongs anyways, Health Canada, not LP's, shitty ones or not.

It wasn't anything in particular...you know when someone new comes on the board..they generally take their time starting an argument with other posters...seemed to me that that person came out swinging...rubbed me the wrong way and rather than ban someone from posting in my threads, I would prefer to tell them to fuck off. I just don't read their posts anymore because so far I haven't been too impressed.

Agree 100%. WHATFG (and I guess BCOGYODA also) just thinks that he owns this place and throws a temper tantrum any time anyone *dares* to disagree with his largely incorrect statements. Unfortunate, that this behaviour actually serves to decrease valuable, intelligent discussions here.

I notice the ones who like to scream and yell and puff their chest out usually have the least to say, but spend the most time saying it.

Some think it makes them more important if they act outraged all the time. It's an internet disease.

Is the MMPR perfect? Of course not. But a month ago, people claimed it would only be PPS. Now there are 6 approved LP's, and more coming every day. A month ago everyone was saying it would all be irradiated and ground up pot. Now we know this is also not true. It appears to me there are some who would rather cling to conspiracy theories than admit that, while deeply flawed because of a lack of access to personal production, the MMPR is not the end of the world.

But no, people just tell me to 'fuck off'. A fabulous way to argue their own counterpoint.

They have developed their sense of identity from something that is now being changed, so they feel threatened, and therefore lash out at those they deem 'impure'. Fortunately, there are clearly others here who take a more mature and informed perspective on issues, instead of stomping their feet and covering their eyes like scared children.

This is the news on cbc this morning. There is a marijuana shortage 2 weeks before the deadline. HC says not to worry, they've got a stockpile from the Netherlands and they can get more if they need it. They were hoping to have 20 LP's by now, but there are only 11 and of those only three have product for sale with the remainder having product later

I'm not worried...I have my own stockpile, and I have more growing for when I need it! We all knew this was coming, but can they not see the absolute ridiculousness of forcing patients to destroy their medicine while having to import the same medicine to meet demand? I sure hope the judge does.
 
Exactly and if it already is costing patients a $1 a gram for shipping in Canada what is the freight going to cost patients for international pot??? So it makes no sense for me to destroy my organically grown medicine that I paid $2 a gram for to turn around and buy LP domestic medicine from anywhere from 3 to 5 times the price or even more if they have to import!!!
 
Just so folks know, there is an unbelievable build up of supply on the black market. Just insane weight sitting there doing nothing. I wouldn't worry too much, as none of it will be destroyed. And the price won't be too bad at least for a while, because it would take over a year to get rid of excess.
 
Nobody wants to use their shitty stockpile of irradiated PPS crap or their shitty dutch weed thats most likely from Bedrocan (canadian government meet dutch government). How they can even say that is medicine is beyond me. Health Canada should've never been placed in charge of overlooking medical marijuana, their ignorance and waste of tax payer dollars is mind boggling.
 
there is no shortage and never will be esp when a judge lets the patients and lps produce for the yrs they will be in court

I'm in the middle of harvesting I mean destroying my current crop. 12 tomatoe plants started. Should be ready for a nice Summer salad! Hahahaha
