Im currently preparing a buy list for my next coco grow and I currently use generic coco that I need to flush, PH, then charge with CalMag before I use it. Can you guys recommend a brand that doesn't need any of the initial steps? I just want to open the bag and pour it to my airpot :) The cheaper, the better. :-P

Im trying to keep my setup as simple as possible and Im planning to switch to the Lucas formula using Maxibloom. I figured that I would only need to buy Maxibloom, Precharged Coco and Epsom salt, this right? I currently use the GH trio formula plus a few other additives like CalMag and I'm actually quite happy with it but I don't live in the US and I have to order everything online and have it delivered internationally since we don't have it here locally. It would be a lot easier for me if I can keep the essential items at a minimum. Any input from current Lucas Formula users greatly appreciated!

Hey,

it may come in bales but you can get the pre charged/washed coco from here... http://www.cocogreen.co.uk

i dont work for them, or have out to do with um, im goin to buy coco offa them when these crappy bio-nova blocks are done. Dont get them as im sure they come with gnats.(edit.the bio nova stuff)

heard nothing but good things about canna coco. You get the pro plus and natural. Cant remember the difference of the top of my head but there is a difference, You could even just keep buying the un charged/ un washed stuff and buy a bottle of canna cocogr, they say to use it with the coco slabs but can be used with any uncharged coco.
A freind uses Plagron coco, says its good to go outta the bag.

Personally i would always give my coco a quick rinse and pre charged myself, as i know what quality control is like, and that mistake do happen. Just me though.

If you are finding its taking too long to wash your coco, and hence why you want to change, try a pillow case so you can squeeze the water outta it.

Anyhow take it easy and best o luck.

I have just transplanted a couple plants from promix to coco.
B-cuz coco worked fine.
I also tried Nutrifield which is the best my opinion.
I just fed a tea of Liquid Karma with Hygrozyme and other stuff and the plants were great from day 1!
Just make sure to use Cal-Mag

Canna Terra - it's coco with organic fertilizer and perlite mixed through etc. Plants love the stuff.

Don't go too cheap on this, when it comes to a medium you better do it right ;)
