Looking to Buy A New Spoon

as an experienced glass blower i can see EXACTLY how and what those pipes are. no need to explain anything. :)
I'm sure you could tell, being the experienced glass-man that you are. That is why I said "As I am sure you know: in my previous message. The rest was for those who do not know.

I am also sure that you could look at the pictures and know just what the pipes are, just as I am sure if the experienced professional glassblowers at Dagga would look at your pipes they would instantly know exactly what they are too.

Just like paper. In fact even thinner than paper. No one should ever buy one. Mine were obviously an error in manufacturing and that would explain why they are thicker than Hell.

If you need to be a fdd groupie and try to pimp his wares for him that is cool and the gang with me. But don't you think it is more than just a little absurd that you expect people to believe that you can judge the thickness of glass in pipes you have only seen pictures of better than someone who owns pipes of that type can?

I suppose if you looked at pictures of two pontoon boats sitting side by side you could look at the pontoons and know that one is made of .064M aluminum and the other is made of .090M aluminum.
the glass is semi-transparent. to an experienced glass blower it is EASY to determine the thickness.

if i looked at the bead on the welds and where the seams meet, i bet i could tell the difference between your 2 boats. ;)

would it kill you to be wrong?

you want a pipe? i'll send you a free one. all i need is a shipping address. you can pm me one and i'll get a pipe to you within the week.

i just wondering why you are so heavily pushing someone who hasn't even posted a pic of his work in over 7 years. the few pics that are posted are first semester stuff. by now the dude should be BO$$.

I am not sure what the 7-years part of your comment was supposed to mean, but you are wrong about me pushing anything. I am not pushing anything. I am defending something I know about through owning several of the items from the inaccuracies someone is claiming about the items.

In my first message I said "You might want to check out Dagga pipes." Then or at no point after that did I tell anyone to make Dagga their choice. I have only told of the high quality that comes with a Dagga pipe.

On the other hand, your groupie clearly stated "go with fdd. that slug spoon is nice." I have been giving product information, telling the truth about a product in response to falsehoods. But your groupie clearly gave advice on what pipe should be purchased, that being one of yours.

Unlike your groupie I do not care in the least whose pipe the OP purchases. I only suggested that the OP check out Dagga pipes, and then factually defended them when they were wrongfully slammed by someone who has never seen one in person or touched one in person or smoked from one, which means they have absolutely no personal experience with Dagga pipes, are totally lacking in facts to base their position on, but still are clearly intent on claiming Dagga pipes to be inferior to another product, which is of course yours.

Does your groupie get a kickback for every pipe he pimps for you? Or is your groupie actually a sock-puppet handle you use to pimp your pipes? I do have to wonder because whoever it is they have to have some reason to slam a high quality pipe like a Dagga to try to push someone into buying one of your pipes. Either there is something for them to gain or they suffer from some type of child-like freakish hero worship for you.

On a different note ..... if anyone has never seen a $3,900.00 bong, emblazoned with a genuine diamond-studded solid gold logo, follow this link and be amazed.

And who are you? Some faceless anonymous online entity that for all anyone knows purchases cheap glass from China or somewhere and resells it and claims it to be your own. What is the name of your company? How many shops do you have your products in? Information about Dagga pipes can easily be found online using the right key words, but what key words can someone use to locate information about your products?

If you want to join your little groupie and badmouth a product that you have never seen in real life, that you have never touched or smoked from in hopes of making what you claim you make appear to be the king of the hill, have at it. I have not commented on the quality of your alleged products. That is because I have never seen one in person, I have never touched one, never held one and never smoked from one. They might be the very best ever made and they might be the very worst ever made and they might fall anywhere between those two. But unlike your little groupie and yourself I will not claim to be able to judge quality and thickness of glass merely by looking at pictures online.

I have been blowing glass for 6 years and know when I see junk. i was being nice before, now ill say it.. those pipes look like crap. the bowl was blown too thin. I can see it. you don't have to hold it to see through the bowl. if you look at the other bowls the hole in the bowl isn't even straight on a lot of them.

I will always reccomend a fellow members pipes. I wasnt saying THOSE SUCK BUY HIS. why wouldnt I say buy mine if i was saying that. BTW the guy already bought one.

I was a boat dealer, specializing in pontoon boats the last seven years I was in the business before I retired. I know you could not tell the difference in gauge of aluminum by looking at the bead of the welds.

would it kill you to be wrong?
Would it kill you to be wrong about Dagga pipes?

How can I be considered to be wrong, because your little groupie said Dagga pipes look thin in online pictures and because you said they look like cheap imports in online pictures? Exactly what are those things proof of other than the two of you either believe you can divine all the knowledge needed about a product by looking at online pictures or that either or both of you (or if you are one in the same) have a vested interest in slamming pipes made by anyone other than you in hopes of people buying your pipes?

That is a munificent gesture on your part, but I believe I will pass. I am already more than just well stocked with pipes. Also, I would not care to be beholden to you.
Thanks anyway.

Riiiiiight. You can tell strictly by a few pictures that were posted online. And going by a few online pictures you actually believe that you can judge quality better than someone who owns the very products you, with so very little to go by, deem to be inferior.

That's hilarious! Tell me another one!

this is just plain ugly

not to mention the inferior quality it show. the fricken OVAL hole is thin as FUCK

thats why the bowl push is like that. when it is thin and you push a bowl it collapses around it creating a crater shaped bowl.

So, that means you are like basement breeders who want and need to believe that with their extremely limited amount of other people's genetics to work with, an extremely limited amount of space, with a very limited amount of funds to work and with no formal education or practical knowledge in plant genetics or breeding that they breed better strains than professional breeders do, and like the basement breeders you fiercely defend your belief.

It all makes sense now. You attempt to elevate what you and your online pal do by fallaciously ripping apart some other product, a product that you have never seen in person, that you have never touched in person, that you have never held in person, that you have never used in person and with that being the case you are left with absolutely no factual knowledge of the product to base your fallacious argument on. But yet you go on.

Amazing. Totally amazing!

/\/\/\ youre just nuts.../\/\/\/\
All i said is they looked thin. I didnt fallaciously rip them apart...
you blew it out of proportion.. started being affended by it. the pictures were of pipes in 2004 and they are in no way professional.

this is starting to get boring and repetitive. if you like the pipe. great. lets see a pic of it.

With that one I will leave you two to your little jerkoff fantasies about how you can accurately judge the thickness of things going only by online pictures and that your personal tastes, ("this is just plain ugly") are the same as everyone else's, or likely even more refined, and that a couple amateur blowers are better than professional people who do it for a living and whose products are distributed for sale in shops and easily found online.

I wish I had not made the error of suggesting that the OP check out Dagga pipes. I should have foreseen that I was infringing on the territorial rights of the amateur blowers in this forum and that their territoriality would cause them to be provoked by the mention of high quality professionally blown glass intruding in their little domain.

probably a good idea... waste of time. its all very repetitive

too sum it up. I cant tell if a pipes thin from pictures and we jerk off together.. same thing as the last few pages.. boring... just funny how upset he got about a pipe that the ONLY people that sell it said. "its not that special" and suggested some inside out ones if I wanted thick. i wouldnt have been a part of it if I wasnt bored and stuck at work....
