looking into using cfl's

no brand just watts and color temp for veg u wanna use daylight cfl's with are 6500k and for flower warm white and are 2700k the more lights u use the better id say bout 2-3 lights per plant and n e where from 100watts and up are the best to use

just to clarify what you said for him

6500k (Daylight) Is best used for vegging
2700 (I actually think this is soft light, excuse me if i am wrong) is best for flowering.

I recommend using mostly the rec type for what you are doing but you get a more complete grow mixing in different spectrums too if you can.

He is right, more the better, I use 1 for germ, after about 2 weeks jump to 2 and increase as it gets bigger. I saw 2-23 watters produce just fine (suprisingly) so it can be done but try to get as much as you can.

He said 100 watts and up, i think he is refering to the incandesant equivelant - don't even bother with that. What you want to look at is the actual wattage 23 is okay and usable, 26 and up is rec.

lol yeh i meant 23 but im high lol and i think its warm light cfl i just checked at homedepot.com
