Looking for suggestions for my confined space

I currently am working with a small 3x5 closet and I was curious what would be the best approach for maximum yields.

I only have one 400w hps atm. I will be doing organic and im wondering how tall should let them get before I flower and how many could I possibly get in that small space and still make the most of it. I see some pics on here with what appears to be small plants but looks to be solid big fat bud, which leads me to think I would get more off of several small ones than two larger plants. I have room to make it almost 15ft longer to split up later down the road but I want to make the money off the grow to fund remodel. And my habit as well lol. I think a couple grows would do it.

I would like to know how this will work out. Im going to setup a hydroponics setup in a 2x7' tent with maybe 8 plants per tube, and three PVC tubes, and two 250w HPS lamps and add in some flouros during flower.

for the 400w, I'd do 6 plants, veg until they are 8" tall, then flower...

otherwise, 3 plants, 15"-18" tall...

aprox 4oz total either way...

go 12-12 from seed, 10 litre pots, 6-14 oz wet, depending on strain.
