Looking for nor-cal MM doctor experiences

alright, for starters, I have a recommendation already, Medicann in Sacramento is where I got it.

The Dr. there refused to recommend more than the state baseline of 6 mature, OR 12 immature.

he said it is Medicann corporate policy.

wouldn't even listen to the math of how much I use, or any other numbers. just flat out refused.

so.... I am looking for others experiences, anywhere in Nor-cal, from the Bay area east and up to Oregon. especially if the Dr. was willing to listen to your needs/current usage and write a recommendation that took that information into account.

6 or 12 isn't going to cut it.

How much do you smoke a day? Are you looking to profit or are you looking for meds?

I am looking to have vegetative and a few mother plants at the same time as flowering plants , that is all. its the OR part in 6 OR 12 that cuts into my personal use.

of course I can just grow them anyways and it shouldn't be a problem, as I have never in 28 years of owning homes had a police officer enter one. but I would rather be safe than sorry.

This is good to know, I was considering going to MediCann. If they have corporate policy on recommendations, though, then I don't see how it is they're any different from, say, and HMO with which one's medical/medication decisions are made by a grunt sitting at a desk. Fuck THAT.

medicann sticks to state and county guidelines. i don't see a problem with that. i have been with them for 4 years and they have been nothing but polite and helpful.

the state limit states 12 immature OR 6 mature. this allows for 50% males. you start 12 seeds and kill half of them at maturity.

what defines a mature plant ? one with buds on it ?

one that has started to show flowers. once it has hairs or pods it's mature.
That's precisely where I start having issue with the definition of "mature". IMHO, the plant is not mature until I harvest it. Up until that point, it is an immature plant. If it really came down to getting busted, a good lawyer could probably argue that and win.

The county that I live in in Norcal is more concerned with protecting legitimate medical growers than they are busting Prop 215 abusers. They just did 2 busts in the County and found 55 plants, 250 LBS of drying buds, 2 rolling thunder commercial bud trimmers, and a money counting machine. Needless to say all was confiscated and jail time will be served. The Sheriff's department policy in this County is to remove only the plants that put you over the limit if you grow too much-as long as they don't suspect you of $elling it!!

I have used MediCANN for about 8 months now and I never flower more than 6 at a time and haven't had to buy any weed since starting. I'm probably considered out of compliance because I will have seedlings or clones started while I am flowering 4-6 plants but I would have to post a sign in front of my house to get a compliance check. You really have to be flaunting it, bragging, selling it, or be WAY over compliance to draw attention to yourself...

8

4 + 8 = 12

lol come on , dont insult me like that :o:fire:
law says 6 adult OR 12 immature

i said you have 4 budding(mature)

by your math, it doesnt matter that 4 are mature ? just 12 plants total is the limit ?

wouldnt it make sense that when you have BOTH immature and mature plants
that a mature plant would count as 2 immature plants based on their 6 OR 12 rule ????????

you are doing it right. you start a few and flower them and then have some "immature" waiting in the wings. that's kinda the thinking behind the limit. they allow for 12 so you cull out the males. it's pretty cool of them to factor that in. they could just say "6 plants".

Michigan state law passed as 12 plants per patient, or caregiver , and a Caregiver is allowed up to 5 patients. So A qualifying caregiver could effectively grow 60 plants at a time considering cloning or all feminized seeds to allow for no male plant loss. 12 plants should be able to be enough for personal medical use. I would think. I smoke about 2-2.5 Ounces a month. Seems like if they just changed it to 12 plants total ,mature or immature, your problem would be solved by doubling the amount of MATURE plants you are able to have.

4 + 8 = 12. :leaf:

4 are mature.

8 are immature. if all of those 8 turn out out be female i have to kill all but 2 of them. unless my 4 finish first. :)

think of it this way, ..............

you have 12 immature plants. you put them all into 12/12 to flower. 4 of them become females first. the others still haven't started to flower yet. what do you do? you have 4 + 8.
