looking for Meijiu A8 650W reviews

so im planing to buy the a8 650w unit but when i looking on theyre site its feel kinda fishy
1. the driver is mw hlg 600h 48b and as i understand 600w is the max output (corect me if i wrong) they claim its 650w on the header of the site and 630w on the details below
2. they claiming for 1263 umol/m2.s from 40cm high. to me its look too good to be true for that price
3.cant find any grow jurnal or any prove that its worth the money

any way hoping to find someone who have it and tested it or at least grew with it or even someone who understand on led and can check them out for me

I just got one myself and they are an awesome light so far.
Just popped some seeds under it.
Havnt done a full grow yet but damn this thing is powerfull and covers a 4x4 tent just perfect

Regarding the conflicting wattage claims. Drivers aren’t 100% efficient. The HLG-600H-48 is rated at 96% efficiency at 230+VAC and even less efficient at 100-120VAC.

Although the DC output side may be putting out 12.5A @ 48v for a total of 600w to the LED’s, the driver may actually be pulling 630-650w from the wall on the AC input side because of efficiency loss.

bro im kinda dummy when it come to electricity. in my case i got ac 220 or 230v and 16 amp on the wall and you say i will pull 630-650w but it would not be better ?
and as we stumble this topic how i can calculate how mach amp this led will draw ?
and what you general thoughts on this led?

if anyone tested ppfd please share results and with what you tested it(most of the meters not read far red)
and as well if its proved that its real sumsung lm301and osram didods

That light is pulling 630 watts from the wall. i got an inventronics driver in my set but its about the same as the meanwell. you will get right about 600w of light from that fixture. Its cheaply made but half the price of the name brands so i kinda expected that. i paid about 650$ for that light. As far as i can tell its completely legit. you are getting the same lights as the name brands for 1/2 the price. I do not have a meter but im sure its putting out what it claims.

i got the LM301h diodes .... it should be 50 to 100 bucks cheaper going with the LM301b version. (both versions are worth that price.....the h version is very slightly better)

no thats not true at all.
There is not a huge change but the H version is like a couple % more efficient and they have a anti-sulpher coating or some shit. The H stands for horticulture. I do not think they are worth the extra money but im not an effiency freak either.
As a regular grower , i would say the B versions are PLENTY of light and not quite worth the extra for the H.

As far as results , i cant speak yet....im an ol hps guy that has not fully switched yet. i have a tent for just the leds and i think its going to be a problem compared to hps but im not sure quite yet.

The LM301H is just a higher binned LM301B with an anti-sulfurization coating.So there is a difference, just not a major one.

They actually both have the antisulfur coating, just that the H is marketing it. Its basicly a top binned B, where theyve binned for ppf and not lumens, no other difference.

One’s a Chevrolet and the other a GMC.

that exactly what im afraid of .saw bk's shit show jurnal ,i dont know what genetic he grow there but he claim for optimal tump and humid,he did not do any mistakes while growing and to me its look abit thin colas for half cycle. you run the same cuts under the lights and is there any difference on tump and humid?
