I went to the site and read everything they had on it but I still can't find any videos or photos of a bd700-u grow. on YouTube they have like one or two videos but you always see like 3 other lights being used in the room. I'm looking for some info on this particular model and any results that were achieved. I was hoping to use it in a 4.5x4.5 area but they recommend the flowering foot print to be a 4x4. I'm thinking it should still be top notch for that area considering I use a 400 W HID. I would really hate to go to the platinum xl for $300 more just to get an extra half a foot. That's 3 inches on each side. Hell that's $100 a inch! Some might say well if your going to spend $1700 on a light why not go a another $300. Many beans can be purchased with a extra $300 and the light should kick ass for that space. Someone out there should have info/experience with this model and I hope they will share it.

Have you read the sticky up top for LED newbs? The first few pages have some generally good info for choosing LED lights. Manufacturers' propensity for stretching the truth is discussed as is coverage and wattage requirements

Very cool site. Never new they existed. For some reason I can't open there pdf file to see SQ foot and light spectrum. All it does is show the light and basic info like 50,000 + hours. Anymore info on LG-led would be awesome. How much? Footprint? Reliability?
