Looking for high CBD strains

Ideally there is a strain out there that is CBD ONLY, which would make it legal to grow. Looking to get healed, not to get high. Have COPD, ADD, ADHD and arthritis. My 84 year old mother has excruciating pain in her back and can't take pain killers. Has to lay on icepacks most of the day to get some relief.
And for those of you out there researching industrial or Indian hemp, be very careful. large doses can cause cardiac arrest. Can get hemp plants but can't figure out how to get the CBD out of it.
Please keep me posted to new developements of high CBD strains and where to get seeds or clones.

It depends where you are located. Strains are out there now, several. Contact ProjectCBD.org. They are organizing their website to put patients and growers in touch with each other. And no, it is NOT legal to grow anywhere that regular cannabis is prohibited.

I have seizures that beat me up constantly and I can't take it. The buzz about CBD I am quite interested in.....whatever is necessary to create a source for anyone with epilepsy to get help without having to get constantly stoned. Ideally, breeding the medical properties instead of the recreational properties into new strains to test on myself and eventually create a nonprofit charity focused on this. Before I was accepted as a disabled citizen...I paid 2100.00 per month on prescription medications. It is a dark place and outward focus through helping others is the only way to fight it right. I need a good source for both medical info and genetic stock. If you can help me, I would gladly pay it forward.

My father is a SEVERE epileptic since he was 16yrs old. Hes now 52 and has had brain testing and tons of other thing sdone by the hospital which never worked and took huge toll of his body, he even almost considered letting them use a laser to the specific part of the brain to erase or burn whichever you wanna say to MAYBE get rid of the siezures at the risk of loosing his memory if things went wrong...

Just found out about charlottes web strain and NEED this badly. He is my patient and im a caregiver for many. This strain is not around my state anywhere... he is about to not use mmj because he thinks the thc high makes him in a wierd place which heightens his risk of having a seizure.

Please please pm me with how to get a cutting, seed or something. I have bunch of sucessful grows and understand the plant and ontop i will gladly donate to someone.

Harlequin x Jack The RipperAfter years of research and testing we have finally developed a hybrid with very high CBD. In over 70% of tested samples the CBD was in the range of 12-15% CBD and equal parts of THC as well. For those patients looking for a High CBD strain with great flavor this is your admission ticket to something special.
Phenotypes:There are 4 main phenotypes. All have virtually the same smell and taste and all buds tend to show some purple. The main difference between phenotypes is in the bud structure and the dominant color; buds are either fingery or round, with pale green or purple as their chief color. The purple buds are particularly impressive.
Height:Short to Medium
Yield:Medium
Recommended for Indoor and Outdoor. This strain is super powdery mildew resistant.
Best way to grow:Topped once, limited stretch on most phenotypes.
Harvest:60-67
Sat/Ind:20/80
Hybrid:Harlequin x Jack The Ripper
High Type:Clear head with a slow onset body and an immediate sense of well being. The analgesic and relaxing properties of the CBD rich Harlequin mother come through nicely and the invigorating pep you get from the JTR high makes this an amazing all day smoke for with real medicinal value.
Taste/Aroma:Phenotypes range from a fresh ground coffee/pepper to a lemon bubblegum. The smoke is smooth and full bodied.
Notes: CBD could be effective in easing symptoms of a wide range of difficult-to-control conditions including: rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, alcoholism, PTSD, epilepsy, antibiotic-resistant infections and neurological disorders. CBD has demonstrated neuroprotective effects, and its anti-cancerpotential. (Citing from ProjectCBD.org)

Is this more of a bushier strain? I run scrogs and i would love to try this out in my setup for other patients. Although im really looking into the charlotte web for fact of 0% thc for my dad so if anyone could have access lmk for donation... my father when has the'high' effect says it makes him more on edge which heightens risk of the seizures.

FJG, thanks for posting the pennywise strain. I am growing a couple JTR x Harlequin crosses now and had no idea the strain had a name. Was going to call it harlequin ripper or something... not so confident I will see the same cannabinoid profile though.

It is a bushier strain with tight nodes, the ladies are stretching a bit in flower though. I had one very indica pheno (male) and two more hybrid looking.

Also growing harlequin, cbd crew sn's widow, and a harlequin x GDP.

Ricky, have you tried a cbd rich strain yet (over 4%) for your father? Even that much cbd really softens the head high in the thc. Where I am we have a strain called sour tsunami#3. 12% cbd and .50% thc if i smoke some then smoke a standard thc strain I will not get high... have to wait over an hour.
Long way of saying that any good amount of cbd will buffer/muffle the thc effect.
