Looking for feedback on Grow Room Controllers

was looking to get a decent Temp/humid controller for my veg room. Have a Sentinel EVC-2 in flower and its pretty good but found an AutoPilot Digital Environmental Controller at the local shop that i can pick up pretty cheap.

Here is a link http://www.hydrofarm.com/product.php?itemid=13338#tabs-6

Was wondering if anyone has used that unit before? The guy at the shop said that it has the guts of the EVC-2 (but i dont usually believe much that comes out of their mouths soo...) however hydrofarm doesnt actually manufacture anything so SOMEONE has to make it for them.

Thanks, if you have had a good experience with another controller, let me know that too! :joint:

Thats a nice looking unit I have never seen it before. I was looking at a CHHC-4 but Now I need to do more thinking.... Thanks

That's quite a mother of a controller, I'm assuming you are growing some serious bud for the price of that monster. I have no input for ya but don't hesitate to post some pics of your grow room.

Peace!

Yeah, thats hat i was thinking... keep in mind though... the CCH4 usues fuzzy logic (i think) for the CO2 stuff so if you were needing that, this unit is just analog Co2... however, they DO make a comparable unit to the CCH4. Check them out here: http://www.hydrofarm.com/catalog.php?category=4&selbrand=238

Good luck.

I just purchased the greenhouse master controller from hydrofarm from my local shop for $350  Feelin pretttyyyy lucky for getting it at that price. however, I'm still waiting for my babies to be big enough for clones, then veg, THEN flowering where I can actually use the controller. Also purchased some praying mantis babies to take over my garden at a dirt cheap with it. Basically amped about using it all, but it's just sitting right now :( Lemme know how it works for you! I'm looking at purchasing an ac/dehumidifier unit, but not sure thats the best choice having the controller. I will keep everyone posted on how it works for me when I get it working! Good luck!

Oops, just looked at the link, it looks like I got the model that one ups yours - the greenhouse MASTER controller, which will detect and control CO2 levels as wells, not just supplement temp with CO2. cheers!

I'm only running one 1000w hps for now, so no need for the powerbox yet! when i get 2 600's, then we'll talk about a powerbox! but i gotta get another sunsystem lowrider and ballast first... my money seems to be disappearing!!

I frequent my local hydro shop (as any avid grower does) and they were just setting up an entire room dedicated to Titan products. They had a few small tents set up and were displaying the autopilot GMC in one, and I asked if they were looking to get rid of it ever. Dude said yeah, put my name down and let me know when he was ready to get rid of it... I knew they retailed at $600 most places (I realize you can find them for $450 or $500 online) and he said it could be mine for $350... it IS used, but they only had it set up and plugged in, nothing was really running off of it quite yet since it was display. Still has the warranty and all, so I am very excited at seeing how it performs, and I will definitely keep you guys posted once it is up and running.

Just goes to show, you appreciate your local store, they appreciate you as well, so don't order all your stuff online- there's something to be said for customer service (just ask the Office!)

cheers

Just realized they make two different models, be that has fuzzy logic and one without... I got the one without. Hard to decipher which is which though, confusing s.o.b.s...
