Looking for a good off the shelves system.

I recently got interested in growing, and I want to get myself a good preassembled hydro/aero/bubble-ponic system.

Something that can hold 6 ladies comfortably, I don't want to grow them big, more thinking about a sea of green style of operation.

I looked at a few of the products offered, the rainforest serie and stealth hydro bubbleponics systems. Both seemed okay, I won't be able to see or touch the system before having bought it and want honest first-hand oppinions

I know I could make it myself for half the price, but I don't want to.

Thanks

peeps love the rainforest. also the turbogarden 14. i have herd the best reveiws of that. also they have ebb adn flo tables that are cool for what you want. i like the botanicare becasue it had deeper trays than the other si am sure you have seen. the seroflo is really good. lotta good stories. the waterdarm you have to modify. that one with buckets that looks like a waterfarm but is a ebb and flo looks cool but damn expensive. all these you can build yourself with some basic and little know how, but then again nothing looks as nice a pre built, well almost. i just built this after plans i saw on the net. i was gonna buy but though fuck it. cost probably 30 dollars in parts, 7-8 in glue. 30 fpr pumps and tubes and 9 for the rubbermaid. 11 dolarrs for the 2 liters and the 1000 for the ride to the emergency room after drinking all that mountain dew. rofl. yet to fill it wiht plants still plugging all the holes. that waterprood pv glue is the shit. also use aquarium sealant but it week compared to pvc glue. be careful with that shit.

hehe, the first thing i did was buy a stealth hydro dwc. i transplanted from dirt and i loved it. dwc is nice and very easy. bubble ponics is easier because it has the drip for the seeds. that is a good idea. go for it! later on you will build all your own stuff. i buit a dwc coffee can cloner in 3 min when i saw clones dying and got them all back alive 100 percent success. if you can affors something like the turbogarden then i hear it really rockes tho! matter of money and diy. in fact you should get an omega garden. please/ i think that is the giant metal rotating garden. lol/. in fact if you were going to build tour own stuff you would come to almost the same price with bubblponics once you got all the nutes and the medium and everything shipped to you. But the parts itself if you strapped for cash come to half or a 1/3 al that. just to et you know so you dont feel ripped off, it a fair thing to pay cash for in many respects. you will alot else hear!

^^^Minus the drip thing that the stealth hydro has for germinating the seeds its just an airbeing pumped in a rubermaid right?

So if I germinate my seeds and then put it in rockwool in the system I don't need to pay twice the price?

the bubbleponic system is overpriced. I bought one, used it with decent results, and then made my own for about $30. One of the easier DIY grow setups to figure out...much cheaper to do on your own, and then spend your money on a solid light. One you figure out hydro (it'll take you 1-2 runs to figure out nutes, lights, etc) then maybe upgrade to a bigger system.

Also I've seen the DIY system Eharmony420 posted up on other sites with 3.5gal buckets and seemingly good results. Same basic setup with just 2 big buckets yielded 10oz. not too shabby...

If you still want a store bought system I'd go with the Turbogarden or an agritech 3x3 ebb & flow setup.

my $.02
