Looking at possibly moving to oregon

Unless I missed someone else saying it, the other thing to keep in mind if you're really considering vantucky (er, vancouver) is you can't grow your own there as a non medical person. In oregon (like colorado) you can have 4 plants without being medical...

Portland is one of my favorite american cities, but there is some pretty god awful traffic (not to LA levels yet, but on par with places like chicago and seattle). If you avoid driving during rush hour, stay in the neighborhood you live in, or can max it places, i heartily suggest pdx. Really though, you need to visit the place to decide if it's right for you... Once upon a time I was choosing between portland and austin. I never visted austin after seeing portland ;)

Getting a medical card in Vancouver is a snap, $100 bucks (Much easier and cheaper than oregon) and you're all set for 15 plants.

Same day, no multiple visits, etc...

You can do 4 in Oregon now without a card though, but its per household, not per person. So if you've got roomies or anything, you're stuck sharing 4 plants.

Wow! thought they tightened up the program several years ago to make it harder than in california good on them for not doing so!

<edit> Note, just googled the current law, and as your governor (I assume you're in WA) signed and partially vetoed the most recent curtailing bill, you're now limited at up to 6 plants medically and up to 8 ounces of marijuana unless the dr says more (which I suppose they will) but that's only if you're registered with the state in their database, if you opt not to, then you're limited to 4 plants and 6 ounces... (effective 7/24)

But regardless, that means in washington you can grow your own fairly easily so it's worth a visit OP as well.

That goes into effect next week, but a HUUUUGE group of people are filing a boatload of conjunctions and lawsuits against the state like right meow.
A lot of it is up in the air right now, I wouldn't count on that bill.

uhh... I would....Washington has been going downhill for a while now and getting worse.....there hasn't been a single bill since 502 that has a a general consensus of "improving" one bit.....regulation regulation.....

and even though i agree with Uncle Fuckhead......Vancouver is the Prineville of Washington....I really can't think of more detested city in Wa......
Oregon certainly isn't two seasons bucko....well if you can't find the atlas.......Oregon has some of the most diverse weather and geography in the lower 48, bar none....Does it rain on the desert lavafields....operative fucking word....a desert....by definition, lacking in precipitation....Doh
