Looking alright?

I vegged these 2 for 90 days, and they've been in flower for 2 days. (Currently using a total of 215W CFL's)

(Both pictures were taken under their dark period!)

They both have been topped 4-5 times, supercropped and one of them topped again.

Is the size alright and is the plant looking overall healthy?

When it comes to grow space I think I have to re setup everything and move the crap out for more space. I'll do that as soon as I receive the 300W LED I ordered a few days back.

Positive/negative feedback is much appreciated!

Happy growing and smoking to ya'll!

They look good, nice color to them. Might need to clear the space a little, could see a molding problem from lack of air flow.

You mean by looking at the fan leaves? I apologize for not mentioning I took this picture in the middle of their dark period!

No, I'm not seeing mold now. But I could forsee it in the future without circulation. Do you have a fan in there circulating air? Just a suggestion.

Alright I see. Yeah I have a decent fan on continuously and I think it works well for these two plants :) Thanks for the info by the way, didn't know lack of air flow can cause mold.

First off , those plants look nice

One thing and its kinda important with CFL , is to " DIRECT " the light . With out some sort of reflector , the usable light is dissipated in non usable directions. It doesn't have to be fancy. Some guys made their own from aluminum trays . Or buy the DROP LIGHT reflectors from Home Depot or any hardware store. That simple upgrade will improve things better. I also noticed that with lights on , you have dark shaded areas even with lights on. Get some bulbs set up to " fill " those areas.

You will need as many CFL as you can throw at them.

I built a metal hood with 12 (46w) 150watt equiv . 2700k OptiLight bulbs @2650 lumen per. Added 4 (23w) 100watt equiv. 2700k OptiLight @2150 lumen per .

The walls are white in photo and shows the heavy warm colors from the bulbs.
I pulled the lower reflectors away from plant for the photo but I surround her with light.

This is for an AUTO I'm running , it is at 38" tall and responds well to this setup.
There isn't anything wrong with using CFLS ( in spite of comments ) if used properly and SUFFICIENTLY it can and does make nice plants. The bulbs most radiant energy comes from the sides , that is why you need reflectors. But if doing a drop bulb setup , get bulbs BETWEEN plants to brighten up the undercarriage. LOL :bigjoint:

Thanks for your response I appreciate it!

Yeah I have learned that using CFL's you gotta direct the light on the plants as much as possible. I move the lights every day once, depending on how the plant grows. The only problem is that the cabels length are limited and I cannot move them wherever I want and that sucks lol. In my first grow I used aluminium foil to reflect the light, but I decided to not use it as soon as I found out it only sucks the heat and has no benefits. I try to keep the lights in between branches so everything of the plant gets as much light as possible. I could try to make an own reflector as you mentioned, would be very interesting to try it out.

I ordered a few days back a 300W IR Full Spectrum LED panel that should arrive quite soon. I will re setup everything and add some CFL's with the LED if needed.

Those walls look crazy yellow btw :D

Heres an other picture taken a while ago to show you the setup I have. I try to keep the lights 3-4 inches away. Excuse me for this simple and non-fancy setup, but ey what does it matter as long it works :D

EDIT: The room in this picture seems to be very dark than it actually is. In this picture it seems those CFL's give almost no light, but in reality the space is a lot brighter. (may be something with my phone or camera angle)

Here's a little update of how I am doing currently:

The plants are 17 days into flowering and are looking quite well. I can see approximately 20-25x budsites on the plant and pistils are forming surprisingly quick than what I expected with this setup. However, here are a couple of pictures for the ones that are interested to know how I am doing :bigjoint:
