get a kitchen vacuum sealer from wal mart or the like--the ones with jar adapters. Fill up the mason jar, suck the air out--then freeze it. Its a good idea to make sure you've cured it first and its dry. It'll keep a long time like that.

I think freezing pot makes it brittle and crumbly, or at least it always has mine.

This sealer works great. I just fill my jars loosely (full, but not stuffed) with nugs, use the pump, then store those in a dark, cool place. Last step in cure. Mold needs oxygen.
Seems to kinda put the buds in suspended animation, where they never DRY out.
I like that.

go to a homewhare place like k-mart etc and find in the bags sect and u will come across ( find it buying baggies) a lil thing that seals bags like heats them shut air tight really good i use it ill try find a pic for ya, ppl use them for closing food bags of iteams like veggies and shit like that
