Long rain spell

Well, we had a beautiful summer but God has now started to piss on my parade, I was able to reinforce my plants by staking and tying on Sunday so they have the support they need for water-logged branches but… Bud rot is my main worry… Looking at a 7 to 10 day rain spell! I’ve got some Guerrillas Gusto from Sensi that is super hardy and I’ll cut them as soon as I have a dry day (who knows when!?) They’re pretty much done so I’ll keep an eye on them and hope they don’t rot on me!
What preoccupies me most are the Early Skunks which need another 3 weeks to finish, they are supposed to be very mould resistant so I will definitely be testing this characteristic out.

What’s the usual/most time buds can resist in rain spells?
Oh, and I can’t go to my spots every time it rains to shake!

Can anyone here confirm if shaking the water off your branches/buds shakes off some of the trichomes?

ugh...your worried about "shaking" some off? Think what mother natures does to her when your not around
I don't think you lose trichromes when shaking, they're not like brittle pins during growth, they're attached pretty damn well.

Anyhow, what about estimates on damp weather resistance?

My apologies I was speaking to the people above me, I should of quoted them. Are you looking at consistant rain for the next 7 days or will there be break where the sun will be out? Possible to string a tarp over them, and havest at night and hope they dont get to wet?

If your havesting soon anyways, why not just try to beat the rain, if that possible?

Have a few outdoor grows under my belt, and the weather here is as consistant as my gf's weight :fire:. My babied have been pelted with hail and rain and been tied down threw some pretty helacious winds. Other then a few broken branches never had a problem

Stringing up a makeshift tarp is a no-can-do... There will be breaks in the rain here and there but not sure if they'll be sunny... I'm just gonna wait it out, it's been dry all year and this is the first rain they've had in a while, they are mold resistant strains so screw it, we'll see what happens.
