lollipop pruning advice

hi im growin these 3 plants in a scrog its my first grow.they are on week 3 of 12/12 they are under a 600w hps. they are nirvana seeds aroura indica and bubblelicious. i lst'd and fim'd heavily and vegged them for 8 week so they are monsters! very very bushy and i feel like all the under growth is out of control and is receiving nutrients that my carpet of bud sites on top of the screen could be getting. any advice or input would be very much appreciated!!!! ^.^

Lollipopping is something that is used in prepping the plant rather than a quick fix in my opinion. I normally wouldnt advise chopping on your plant when its developed this far into flower, but I truly think you could get away with taking just the bottom 1/3 of brush just underneath the net without stressing the plant. Just as much as you dont want it wasting energy on the lower brush, you dont want to hack at it and cause it stress trying to heal while flowering either. Again, I'd suggest just taking off the bottom 1/3 of the brush just underneath the net and let it go for a day or two and see how it reacts. If it takes well to it, take a tad bit more off. I wouldnt go too Edward Scizzorhands on it though either.

I do it at around 2-2.5 weeks into flower. This is something I have a picture of currently that shows my lollipopping skills
