Lollipop during flower?

I’m in Week three of flower. Buds are developing but my plants are shrubby with a lot of foliage. I also unknowingly had nitrogen toxicity at first so I have a lot of big dark green fan leaves. I used 100% FFOF soil and I believe the soil was just super hot because the toxicity was always there even without nutes but I never flushed until recent. Next time I’ll do a soil blend. (This is my first time growing in 7 years, I’ll stick with it after this).

would it be too late to lollipop or defoliate my plants now? they are under a trellis and all the leaves make it hard. And when moving them the leaves get bumped around a lot and damaged. My only concern is trauma during flower, and not being able to see deficiencies early on fan leaves. Any advice?

soil grow in 2x4 tent and I was an idiot and did no LST or topping in veg so now the plants are reaching too close to the LED and I don’t wanna get heat burn

You can still bend the plant away from the light and lollipop. In 2 weeks when its all about producing mums then its time to stop messing with it.

Hmmm thinking about it on another note I think I could use the leaves and trim for butter later on. What do you think?

Here’s pics I just took. But see I have a ton of foliage and not a lot of room to work with. And they aren’t close to being done stretching.but yeah here you can also see my nitrogen problem. That’s what scares me the most. I just fed water for a week and I think the new growth is slightly better but I’m considering just feeding water for the next week or two. I just went back to nutes in the last watering, but I think I’ll do another week and a half of plain water with calmag after this
