So I live in California, in the Valley, where flies are like citizens... everywhere. I was watching the Manning Bowl when I looked over & seen 2 flies fucking, literally. I knew they were because 1; I seen flies fuck before & 2; because oddly enough, a week ago I looked up a Youtube video of flies fucking (Don't ask?).
I went to go get my "new" fly-swatter, I prefer a zapper, but... I had to settle for a $1 one. My old swatter, from a few weeks ago, was all plastic & broke on contact when I use to swing it, so I had to get a rubber one with a medal handle.
I couldn't find my swatter, of course, I slowly got out of my chair, & started searching. Finally after a hopeless 5-7 min. I found it! I ran back to the living room to see if they were still going (luckily this fly was a stud...) then I took my position (I take fly swatting like a sport) & I hit em.

Immediately when I hit em, (Still in doggy-style position) I saw 2 streaks of blood on the wall, so I knew I succeeded. But, as I looked around the floor I didn't see them, so I proceeded to check the swatter, nothing. It irritated me I cannot find the bodies, made me feel as if I failed?
Then, finally, I looked up in the corner of the ceiling (Where we have daddy long legs living) an I suppose as I flung the swatter back, they were still attached to it through guts, an they landed perfectly within a spider nest. But, a spider won't eat it's prey if it's already dead when caught, fortunately for me, 1 of the 2 flies was still alive (male) & was twitching, so the daddy long leg immediately "thought" it caught a fly, an started wrapping it up.
Funniest part though, when I further examined (because I was going to take pics at first to post) I knew the male had lived because I seen it's little fly-dick stuck in the female like a dog! It appeared so at least, the female was dangling from the male, the male was stuck to the web & the female was hanging.
Best thing ever. All I could think was;
"Damned, he was going at it for a good 10-minutes, I wonder if he was busting when I hit em?"
Fucked up way to go out. UNFORGIVABLE.
