Log in's Timing Out??

Good Morning All, has anyone else been experiencing Time Out on your login?? Several times recently I've worked up posts, then, try to submit/preview/spellcheck, whatever, and BANG! you go to page that says your're NOT logged in!!! And ALL work is lost! Seems to me that the system has developed a short-fused "Time-Out" feature on the login's, which doesn't seem very user friendly to me. Anyone else????

yes just then, took 1/2hours setting up a post for my thread moving pics,+tex to get it just right . got sent to log in all gorn
so i just quickly up loaded pics and pressed submit
its happend befor several times so annoying

Thanks Mississippi, I'm damn glad it wasn't just me screwing up or something, LOL. It sounds like YOU take your time & put a little thought into your posts, and that is a GOOD thing my Brother! I work and polish until it's just right, (BTW, doesn't anyone in this forum KNOW what spell-check IS??), LOL, and it just about sends me over the edge when my hard work goes POOFffft!!! I sent a message to the "Powers that Be" about 36 hours ago reporting my suspicions, but not heard "squat".
Here's a little trick I've quickly developed: Before you try to submit, rt.click and get a copy in your mouse, then if it blows up, you can log back in, go back and start again, but with the data save in mouse, Viola! nothing lost.

Well.....I hate to jinx anything, but maybe, just maybe the problem has been fixed. LOL, in fact, it's gone back to the old way of NEVER logging you out! Anyway, if everything stays as is, CONSIDER THREAD DEAD.

Just spent 20 minutes writing a post, AND forgot my own advice, (didn't save it!), and yep, ZAP! ALL gone!!!
I was "timed-out" in 30 minutes. This is a most excellent way to discourage anyone from making any kind of comprehensive and thought out post. If this is happening to you, MAKE A FUSS! It's really got to stop. BB

It's not happened to me. Maybe you should try clearing all your cookies and emptying your cache, and then logging in again.

I appreciate your input, HOWEVER, it's NOT cookies or cache! Sometimes I forget to "logout", come back 2 days later, and STILL logged in!
And sometimes I can login, create a post in 15 minutes, try to submit, BANG!! R.I.U. says I'm NOT logged in, and POOF, my post is into the Twilight Zone, never to be seen again. No Sir! this is CRAP, and NOT of my making. BB

Relax, man. I didn't say it was your fault. I've had zero problems, and am just throwing ideas out there.

and if you'd just go empty your cache, delete all your cookies, restart your modem along with your computer, and try again everything would be okay.

ive had zero problems as well, until i played with my cookie settings. even if it isnt your fault though, you should not need to rewrite your whole thing. in firefox, if it takes you to that login screen, just hit back. all of your text will still be there, THEN copy it and relogin and repost. this way your not copying to clipboard when uneccesary.
