Little help from experience please!!!!

so to all of you that have had a plant get polinated!!!!! anyone thats seen my vids knows what i got!!! 2 plants in a tent, well im 5 weeks into flower now and i came home from a vacation to find one of my small fans fell and took off a top....... so i checked it out and found some beginnings of SEEDS!!! NO!!!! so, im sure the reason is because i stressed one of my plants at the beginning of flower, it hermied about 10-12 balls, i pluked them (I THOUGHT) i got em all but evidently NOT!!!, none that i found were opened or in groups like grapes,even tho im somewhat experienced and have had 6 hydro crops, ive never had a hermie or seeded weed, so im wondering now since its pollinated, how much damage could be done, since i barely found any polin sacks, lets say i missed a couple and they opened, how much of my crop is fucked and is it worth finishing out, i have aout 3 weeks till harvest, any help is appreciated, remember i only have 2 plants and both have been pollinated, SO.........

Id let it finish, and save the seed at least. lol Otherwise cut her down and put her into some brownies!!! =)

to answer my question, i know i can make hash, im wondering if there was only a couple sacks, how much damage CAN a couple do!!!! im not saying it was a full hermie, just less than 15 balls, which i picked, so anything i missed was nano cuz i could seethe entire plant, OR could it have been on my fingers while i was examining,IM NOT a newbie, just never had a herm or seeds thats all, so this is where i have questions!!!! thanks

It very well could have been on your fingers. You could've been doing the job of the bees. lol

I agree with Hydro, let it finish.. A few seeds is not going to ruin your smoke. It's good to have a few seeds for the next grow..

As already said you might as well let them finish, just wait and see how many seeds are through it. Me personally I would scrap the plants as soon as I noticed any male tendancies. Through away any seed that you get from it as well and go and grab yourself some reliable seeds off of the net. Do not grow the seeds unless you want your time wasted, why settle for less than superior genetics.

AGREED!!!! i have great genetics, its my fault, i split the ''Y'' where i topped it the first time, stressed it causing it to hermie, ALL ME GUYS!!!! i aint keepin any seeds, ok, OK i aint growin bag seeds here, i have a nice setup, i fucked up y stressing her out and then also thinking i got all the balls, i shoulda tossed her, and grew the other, but like i said i thought i got all of them but obviously not, PS I have 2 great strains goin at 5 weeks veg right now also MAZAR KUSH and CRITICAL KUSH, both atittude (always), the 2 that are seeded are also fem seeds, northern lights, and widow x skunk, this one is my fault 100%.

SO..... also im wodering what i should do with my tent cuz these will bew done in a few weeks and i need to get my next 2 in there, but what abou the pollin, is there something i need to do, what? and when?, or is it fine!!!!

I has a similar situation once...I ended up with about 75 seeds dispersed among six plants...inspect and remove any remaining balls; mist plants with water...remove plants from grow tent and wipe down tent with bleach and water solution...

Ok here goes.

I have dealt with a few HERMIE issues in my time.

Firstly HUNT and PLUCK.

Secondly after seeing your vids so far I know you've got a hurricanes worth of air movement above and below your canopy. Unfortunately this means that any pollen could make its way round every part of your plants.

It is inevitable that you will get some seeds somewhere.

IMO just let them finish and prey they didn't pollinate too badly.


Thirdly.
Once your girls are down before ANYTHING goes back in there you need to do a 10% bleach solution clean down.
Tent! Fans! Reflector! DWC res! Zip ties and string!

FUCKING EVERYTHING!!!!


Other than this you just need to wait it out.

I remember reading a while back that seeded bud is around 60% of the grade it would have been if unseeded. THAT'S BASED ON A WHOLE CROP POLLINATION!

always good comin from you man thanks for that!!!!! well my crop looks nice so im wondering if it will still bulk up or now is gonna just be some dirt weed, i KNOW that the thc isnt as good, but will my strains taiste good still or shwag now??? do i cure the smae way?? and is there any way LOL to get rid of the seeds during the drying stage, i know that sounds dumb, but ive had weed you can shake and seeds fall ut, can you do that after you cut them so here gone before its cured?? im so new to this one it scares me, LOL!!! i wannaget the best from what i got now SO..... what should i do with em???

you can just spray down with water, but if you feel the extra precautions are necessary, then go for the bleach solution. it wouldnt hurt.
bleach will also kill of anything non visible that may be brewing in the area. pests included.

keep everything normal, as if it didnt happen. unless there are big clusters of seeds, the weed will still be plenty smokable, and have a great taste.
ive finished out hermies that end up with 1-3 seeds to a bud, and it was almost just as good.
i just pulled as many seeds as I could see during my trim.

So i should pull my plants and examine them now, pull any seeds i see off now, BUT how am i supposed to know which are seeds and which are starting to swell, I dont wanna be pulling off resin beginning, they apear to look the same as a swollen calyx to me,i only found them becuz the bud that got cut off, i ripped it apart cuz i felt a ball and sure enough some tiny 1/4 sized little green seeds, seems one thing i noticed is the the hairs of the ones with seeds are orange, all the oher hairs are white still, but they could be housng seeds, not too sure on this one!!!!

You will know as you'll see different looking growth where the calyx meets the pistil.

It will begin to look like a seed quite quickly.

yeah, if it were me, i wouldnt worry about the seeds now. just let it finish out, and try and prevent any more pollination, if at all possible.
once seeds become obvious, and they will and jondamon stated. you can pluck if you like, but its much easier after buds are dry IMO.
its like popping a zit. just add pressure with scissors toward the back of the seed, and POP.

sure you may be able to sacrifice some energy in seed production now, but is it worth potentially butchering a plant.

hello mr ganja quick one here maybe ?lol i need to drop my PH from 7 to 5.5 will vingar work if so how much to a gallon of water please help ?also im in 12/12 lights do i leave a fan on all the time ? thanks

yes just add some till it reads what yo want it to, add small amounts at a time unless you have something to bring it back up if you go down too far!!!!
