Hello All... I have been lurking on the forums for a bit now and decided to register as of late. I have read tons of great and useful information on the forums and would like to thank everyone for putting up such a great resource of information. I have used the information as best I could in the starting phase of my grow. I do however have a few questions that some help would be appreciated.
I am planning my grow for next year and it will be my first one. I have the perfect spot for it I believe... close to a water source, with no traffic and surrounded by dense bush and swamp. Great amounts of sunlight for an outdoor grow with no nosy neighbors to worry about. I have been building my watering system for the past bit, running hoses and hiding them etc. as well as preparing the growing areas.... It has taken me quite a while to do this as it is a very hard to get to area.
My question is this... living in Ontario near Toronto the soil conditions vary greatly from area to area. I have about 8" of soil then bedrock.. great for drainage but a nightmare to lug in extra soil unnoticed.. what strain would do best in this type of area and produce large bud? I have read varying opinions but would like to hear from those with growing experience. I have access to fresh manure and I mean fresh.. would this burn the plants if mixed into the soil or would they be ok? I am running a misting/trickle system on solar power, how much water should I be letting the plants get based on a 24hr time line.. I have a timer hooked up to the system but am not sure how often to water. I would like to avoid having to visit my site as much as possible to avoid anyone witnessing me heading to my grow.
