List any One-Hitter-Quiter strains you have smoked.

I'd say my favorite smoke to date has to be headband. My buddy got ahold of a quarter pound of this stuff and it literally had the strongest odor I have ever smelled in my life. The high was incredibly heady with a nice body buzz to boot. I'm not sure if it was a super rare pheno of headband or what, but fucks sake!!!! Because of this special encounter with the headband, it had an impact on my last seed purchase. I'm at week 6 of flower with Blueberry Headband (Emerald Triangle), White Widow (Nirvana), Black Russian (Delicious), OG Kush (Royal Queen Seeds), and Critical Jack Herer (Delicious). Like I stated, I just started week 6 flower, and right now, the BB headband and the critical jack have the most trichs. Don't get me wrong, the other three do too, just not near as much. Man, I can't wait to taste this shit!!!

i think I smoked some northern lights when i was used to smoking brick on the east coast. It was in my first year of smoking and that was some one hit shit. Since then I've never had the luxury of any one hitters. i can always take one more

That sounds like a great selection B Wiz. I grow the Critical Jack from Delicious (review in my sig), and it is an overall awesome plant. It is my go-to smoke and tastes incredible. Fat yields too. Good luck and enjoy

Real ATF, I haven't seen it since the early 90's, but it was one of two strains I have had that were true "one hitter" status, the other was called Paradise Pulverizer, named after the town of its orgin, it's extinct now.

I'd be very surprised if anyone knew of this strain but back in the '70s there was a strain called Michoacan. It not only toasted you quickly but it tasted wonderful doing it. It tasted like you were smoking BBQ. It was heavenly. I remember I paid like $40.00 for an ounce of it and that was an outrageous price. I almost didn't buy it but I was completely dry so I figured oh what the hell and I was so glad I did it was heaven. Would have paid $100.00 for another ounce but never saw it again ....

it is oaxacan and its named after the region in Mexico where it is grown...very very good indeed....tasted spicy almost like black pepper

Michoacán and Oaxacan are two different varieties from different areas in Mexico. Guerrera was another area that produced some good pot. We used to get them all in Mexican flour sacks. Colas were 2 foot long...all bundled together...and you're right about the taste, very spicy

Like the Unites States which is comprised of 50 of them, Mexico has 31 of its own States, including Oaxaca, and Michoacan (de Ocampo). Both Mexican states have significant amounts of Mexican drug cartel activity to go with the cannabis trade/business.

Oaxaca is at the most Southern end of Mexico, close to Central America with a nearly tropical climate, and supposedly the best outdoor weed in Mexico is still grown there, in terms of flavor and potency. The Oaxacan in particular is known for a racy even psychedelic effect. (These are all sativas).

Michoacan is at the Southwest part of Mexico. Historically, much of the commercial ("schwagg") bud smuggled into the USA was, and still is grown there. Now, lots of the commercial stuff is hybridized, so what you get in the bag may not be the same as 20-30 years ago, but the Michoacan stuff was know for a spicy/minty taste.

I suspect, but don't know for sure, that the Mexican sativa in my grow report (see signature below) is Michoacan. The stuff was definitely good, but in no way is/was it a "one hitter".

Yeah the reason your not going to find anything that will get your that high again is cuz back in the 60's in nam they would dip the weed in opium , hence the name "black". They did this to make the weed very addictive , and extremely potent .

The question that should have been asked is " what weed in your opinion gets you the highest"
1.og kush ( sadly most people haven't grown a true OG kush clone and don't know how good OG really is)
2.sour d ( again the real clone only is sooo much better than any cross or seed)
3.Trainwreck ( not to sound like a broken record but the Arcata clone only is so fn potent way better than any seed)

I was thinking about this thread and how a few people have criticized the possibility of being done in one hit. Listen guys, my intention is to find strains that you when you take a quick hit or two you CAN quit and be legitimately stoned. I'm not saying you couldn't sit down for a session, just what will get you good and high after a good rip.

I took a good rip of Skywalker Kush the other night and was really freaking baked. Could I have taken a few more pulls? Sure, but I didn't NEED to. Man that's some potent weed.

The problem is just that even if you know how strong it is, it can be really hard to measure a good dose with really strong weed (ie two hits too little. . .three hits too much). If you aren't familiar with the stuff (or even sometimes if you are), its also really easy to overdose with these super strong strains, particularly with "creeper" ones that may take 15 minutes to take full effect. By the time you realize just how strong what you're smoking is, its too late. . .you're in a stupor ("couchlocked"), or your heart is racing, etc.

I have smoked "The Willies" which I think is also willies wonder, this was in the 90's in western Washington state, Quimper peninsula area where this was a common street weed pickup.

To be honest, it really turned me off to the 'strong' 'one hitter quitter' stuff. It's like Jogro describes; dangerous and hard to dose. I would be in for a wild, paranoid, couch-locked, ride where short term memory doesn't exist. Unable to move, follow a conversation, keep a train of thought; it left me feeling really negative about getting high or stoned.

Just fyi - Arcata trainwreck isn't clone only. It was created by billgoat and is available in seed form. The problem is that you have to personally run into billygoat to get them and he doesn't come out much anymore. If he is in good health he attends the hightimes cups usually.

my mentors sisters signature strain was janes brain. i stayed away from it, it was african highland bred to a panamanian red she brought the seeds back from panama herself. the brain would melt your mind. i briefly had some seeds, but traded em cause that bitch grows real tall. i dont usually grow plants that grow taller than me indoors.
