Liquid Karma = Liquid Death?

OK...so I got suckered into buying an AN product...Liquid Karma.

It has so far managed to kill everything I've used it on with Nitrogen excess. NPK is .1 .1 .5....

I'm throwing it away! I've managed to now kill or almost kill a plant in every stage of growth with it. I never had a problem with nitrogen before...so it has to be the LK? Several successful grows before I started using Liquid Death?

Has anyone else used ths product? I'm just wondering if I'm the only one? I'm using it at 1/2 to 1/4 strength...latest victim shows obvious signs of nute burn and it's the only product I've used.

I feel so retarded that...even after it clearly killed two plants during my last grow...I used it again? What was I thinking?

Thanks

liquid karma is made by botanicare not advanced nutes. and i use it with every feeding through veg and bloom and never have had an issue. I swear by the stuff, IMO its the mosy gentle and effective organic additive ive found yet.

check your measurements, Karma is mostly kelp and should be used in addition to your feeding program. It is NOT a primary food source.
water in directly with your regular nutrients or use with just water or spray just before the lights go out.
10-15 ml per gal

I purchased AN sensi bloom series down at my local hydro shop and was given a sample of this liquid karma. Long story short i applied a very low concentrated watering to one of my 6 blackberry kuch clones and within days noticed my leaves beggegning to burn... I flushed Asap within 2 weeks went back to normal and havent touched the little sample bottle since ...

Liquid Karma by Botanicare is the bomb! I have been feeding my ladies 10ml/4l since they started their 12/12 cycle. The ladies love it!!!

The problem isn't the liquid karma - liquid karma is hardly anything anyways except some organo additive junk.

re-evaluate your methods.

the problem is understandable on paper. LQ contains chelates like humic acid. This helps the plant take up more nutes. Your plant is eating better and therefor burning itself. Most people dont report it. I did not use it for a while. I have perfect plants. I am using it now but plan to stop because it is an added expense and I am doing mineral hydro. I did one res so far tho. So I will see. I do use it for clones. It is the swear by tho for organic soil. Really kick starts the soil. Are you in soil I am curious?
Nutes can vary so if you got a mix then stick with that.

Na it was a legit little plastic jug shaped bottle ... Perhaps it was the genetics i was using at the time but i have not intention of giving it a round 2 lol

I'm just wondering if there's a bad batch or something. Even on my big-ass plants...I put just a teaspoon in a gallon of water...and I get these gray spots like the next day or 2 days later. On small plants, the whole plant slowly turns gray then crispy brown dead. On big plants...it's just a few leaves on the bottom and they just go gray along the edges. But I guarantee that, if I kept feeding it to them...it would eventually kill them.

I'm in soil and it only happens when I use the LK. I used to use a similar product called "Nirvana" (I think that's where I got confused between Botanicare and AN)...the Nirvana worked great...but this stuff is going in the garbage.

I got dramatic rebound and growth rate adding LK to my nute regimen. OP didn't post his nute schedule but the most likely scenario was the humic acid in the LK making unavailable nutes in his soup available again causing burn. I can see this happening with synthetics if not careful, while organic/organic blends that are feeding plants via beneficial bacteria and fungi shouldn't have this happen.

i use it indoors and outdoors (on my special few plants) and i dont measure it out anymore. Its so hard to do serious harm with any of botanicares nutrients.

Have you since stopped spreading this propaganda abiut liquid karma. I use it on all my plants. Even my clones. It's hardly even has relevant npk ratios. Mostly just beneficial microbes, enzymes , bacteria or whatever. I didn't use it last time. And am now using it on those plants clones. And all of them are looking 10x healthier this time around. There are other factors as well that contribute to the better health of em but I know the LK is helpful. Sorry to raise this from the dead.
