Lily-pad looking leaves a cause for concern?!?

As the title states'. He/she/it seems healthy overall, but there are a few leaves that have a lily-pad~ish resemblance

Is this an issue that needs to be dealt with?

I dont see any cold/heat stress. Its more and likely to be just the strain/genetics. If it was to cold you would see purpple stems and so forth and if is was to hot your leafs would be curling up or turning brown.

The leaf margins curling up like that is a humidity issue, I think, or some other moisture stress (overwatering most likely).

Thanks for the quick responses. The temps stay between 76(during darkness) and 85(during light cycle) It may very well be over watering. Everyother day the top of the soil gets crusty and looks like there is a layer of salt on it; about a half inch deep is dry. Im probably just watering it too much.

Temps sound just fine...the layer of salt might be from hard water, or a water softener (do you have one?).

Let them dry out completely between waterings. Water every 3 or 4 days, or whenever the pot feels light (heft test - the pot is much heavier when the soil is wet). 2/3 of a cup of water is about all they'll need for a few days.

This may sound like pure vanity, but, I either use Fiji or Avian when watering.. I stock up on that stuff and thats all I drink in my home, so the plants get it too. I figured it would be better than tap. I could be wrong though.

Curling up is a heat issue. It's curling as an effort to let off heat. Granted your temps may be within range but where within your grow room are you recording temps? How close is your light to the plants? How is your air circulation?

And, the salt at the top of your soil may come from not watering enough between feedings or it might just be from the soil depending on what you're using. Peat is known for having what may look like salt but I think it's natural.

your fancy water doesn't have the trace minerals of tap . you may run into a cal/mg problem if you continue to use it.

I used Scotts Potting Soil and Espoma Plant-Tone plant food. I mixed it as the bag suggested (25 parts potting soil- 1 part plantfood).
I have 3 fans. 2(3in) at the top of the grow area used for exhaust and 1(5in) almost in the middle-sucking infres h air. I am taking the temps near to the top of the plant. Im unsure of the specific problem because the , I'll just say, the "lily-padding" is only occurring on 6-8 of the 30-40 or more total leaves. Why are the symptoms evident only on some leaves and not all? If you look closely, there are leaves that are directly adjacent to the curled leaves that are flat as can be. And why curl up and in? - as if it is trying to roll itself(no pun intended). Most leaves that I see on this board that are curled, are usually curl downwards- If upwards, they usually have some sort of discoloration.. My entire plant is the same shade.

Fiji actually prides itself on providing a product rich in Calcium and Magnesium. I will say this though, considering this is my first grow, I will water my other plant with stale tap and record the difference.

did the Sott's potting soil already have nutrients in it?
Cause to me, it just looks revvin to go and I would be thinkin overnuted.
Either that or, you may have some salt build-up, I would flush a couple times with ph'd water and add light Nute solution and see how she acts.

Big Sexy is doing fine, getting bigger and bushier by the day. The little one, is struggling, but growing; albeit a little wierd. Not to sound harsh or offensive but, is there a plant variation of down syndrome?!? Take a look at the two small plants. One of them was sowed 2 weeks ago. The other, 31 days ago- the same day as the huge one. I just dont get it. Same soil, same environment- way different results. Any idea why? Bad seed, different strain, underachiever?!?!
