What you seek is knowledge about the Emerson Effect of far-red light that typically happens at sundown. The only empirically known benefit to fade-out type lighting that I am aware of, for plants.
They look cool on aquariums, the ones with fade effects and lightning storms, but for plants there are minimal to zero benefits...Unless you hit them with that 730nm wavelength at the end of the day to put them into night mode (which should not be confused with sleep).
I like playing with systems, but you will never catch me doing foliar applications of fertilizer. Maybe for species that are adapted to living that way, orchids and tillandsias and stuff, but it seems like wasted effort on Cannabis. I want to do less work, with better results, whenever possible. Foliar feeding smells like “busy work” to me.
