This will be my first grow.I have had a organic garden the last few years so i wanted to give this a try.I have two flourescant light set ups they hold 5 tubs each thats 10 grow lights I wont to start 15 plants for 2 months indoors will that work.I have a 400 watt HPS I got from work should I put it on the plants after 30 days to run it on them the last 30 days or just go with what I got. Thanks

10 lights is a lot of fluorescent!

Make sure you have good fluorescent bulbs in those as well. You want to have a bulb that has a wide spectrum for best growth. I reccomend GE 40 watt Plant/ Aquarium Wide Spectrum. They have done really well for me recently and I have a good link for you to check out about indoor fluorescent bulbs.

The 400 Watt HPS system you have is perfect for when your plants go into the flowering stage.

I say you are pretty well set up for growing what you want.

the 10 lights are grow lights I got at the garden center.could I put the lights on there side like 5 on one side 5 on the other side and the HPS over the top so I would have light on the right left and the top.what ya think to much?

You could easily do that.

I would reccomend getting a MH conversion bulb for your 400 watt overhead light. MH lights are best for vegetative growth and HPS are best for flowering.

That would provide plenty of light for your plants.
