Lighting!!!

ok so im gonna start my first grow realllll soon and i got a 1000 watt mh/hps ballast for 6 plants so my questions is is that to much light for 6 plants?? or is there even such thing as to much light for my girls

Sounds great. 50 watts a square foot is a minimum, and if you keep your temps cool, supply CO2, take care in general, I don't know if there is a top end.

Thats 18 square feet, or 3 square feet per plant. MONSTERS!!

too much light is a problem and can burn or bleach out the plants.
if you run high wattage in a very confined space raise the light, this will lower intenisty

true.........i will have the light pretty high but not to high that the plants gotta stretch for it its a closet but the ceiling is about 9ft high and the rest of the closet is about 6 by 4ft so its a pretty big closet normally the temp. in the closet stays at about 65-68 so my other question to you guys would be how much will a 1000 watts raise the temp?? but i will have 2 fans in there for constant air circulation for them babies haha oh yea and another qwik question is i heard co2 can almost double the yield so im up for it but my question is where can i get co2? and when i get it where do i put it? thanks
