I got 2 hps bulbs a 70watt and a 150watt. 6 23 watt cfl ,1 42watt cfl, and a 175w mercury vapor light. What ones will be vest for veg. and then for flowering. Is the lower the spectrum for flowering and higher for veg?

Higher spectrum is bluer light, used for veg.Lower spectrum is redder, used for flower.I don't think that mercury vapor will be very useful for growing. For veg, check and see if your cfls are cool white, or have a color rating of 6500k.This is blue light, and should be used for veg.The hps is red, usually used for flower, but you could mix the cfl's and hps, using one of your hps all the way through, and adding the other one and removing the cfls when you switch to flower.

yup put both hps in your flower room and use all 7 CFLS for veg.... mercury vapor is very inefficient so just scrap that sucker or try to find a conversion bulb for it if you feel its nessecary
