I am about 3 weeks into my first grow and i have a few questions for the more experienced.first off,i have 7 plants under a 600w hps in a 4x4 grow room.they were vegged for about 3 weeks with an average height of 2 feet with several branches.my first question is will a single 600w hps bring out maximum flowering potential????Or will i get a much larger yield if i add another 600w light? My second question is i am mostly likely going to do a sea of green for my second grow.I want to set it up in the every 2 week harvest.I want to yield 4 oz every two week cycle using 2x600w hps.is this a realistic goal. and how many small plants going straight to flower from clone would be most efficient under my light system. any feedback would be greatly appreciated

The more light the better, add the extra 600 watt light in, it will help. 4oz every 2 weeks with 2 600 watt lights is possible, its going to be tight though cuz your going to need to harvest 4 plants every 2 weeks that average 1 ounce each..but possible, if you have 1 plant/square foot that 600 watt should cover about 3.5x3.5 feet or 12.5 square feet each, 25 plants should work fine and give you a bit of wiggle room to spare. Your going to need a separate veg/clone area.

Thanks for the quick response.I was shooting for 24 plants.six every 2 weeks. But i read somewhere u needed about 75w pr sq ft.that would put me at 16 sq ft. I figured 1 plant per square foot which would allow me 16 plants.4 in each two week phase.Which i know 4 oz out of 4 plants grown under this method would probably be pushing it... The extra 2 plants per phase would definately give me better odds of reaching my goal.so 75w pr sq ft isn't neccessary???
