Lighting Up

I'm thinking of trying to trick my plants into a quicker grow cycle.
Would changing lights from a 12/12 to maybe a 8 on 8 off or even trying to get 2 days outta 1 by going on a 6 on 6 off ? Has any1 attempted anything like this??NE comments, suggestions would be appreciated.

Wait a minute here... your in your grow cycle and your in 12/12? You must mean your flowering cycle. Do not mess with any other schedule for flowering other than 12/12. Big No No!!! Good luck

if you try i want to know the results but i think if u did the 6 on 6 off it would be the same as 12/12 but since you go light off on off on, i think it would stunt and confuse the plants. possiably keeping them in veg the whole time but plants can evolve so it might just take it a feww weeks even months to catch on
