Lighting screw up! What should I do!

Hi all

Long story short, KASA WiFi Smart Plugs are absolute shit.. it disconnected from my WiFi network and apparently once that happens it no longer sticks to its set schedule.

So my lights that were to shut off at 7AM today, weren't discovered as still on until 2PM.

Normally they turn back on at 7PM..

So do I..

A. Just shut the light off from 2PM-7PM and resume 7AM-7PM 12/12 lighting as usual per tomorrow, but give them only the 5h of darkness today

B. Give them the full 12h from 2PM until 2AM, then start dialing it back an hour daily (1AM tomorrow, 12AM day after) until I'm back at 7AM-7PM schedule?

Thanks very kindly for any advice!!

Never buy KASA!

I would just put them back on their regular schedule. Pretty much all WiFi smart plugs are garbage when it comes to issues like that and returning to the right schedule after the power goes out and comes back.

If this ever happens just Give the plants the full 12hr dark then knock off the hours from the following daylight schedule.

Personally I wouldn't let the lights come back on early during a flower cycle if I could help it. Leave them off for the full 12 then set your hours back as they were

Stopped by to see if anyone else had the same problems I had and came across this. Kasa is crap. Went a full day without flooding in an ebb and flow system because there was a power flash overnight. The plugs never bothered to run their schedule after that. One stellar plant is near fucking dead because these jackasses can’t make a remotely resilient product. Fuck them!
