Lighting schedual

Here's an issue I havn't seen addressed. Right now my lights are running at night, from 9pm to 9am due to the summer heat. But I was wanting to switch to a day time schedual when the fall comes around. I'm doing a perpetual harvest, so the plants are all in differnent stages, 2 weeks apart. I know it will be awhile until I want to switch to a day time schedual, but how would you do it? Just go with a 24 hour dark period at one point? Or slowly adjust the dark period to 10 hours and work your way down? The reason is I have to do all my gardening at 9pm, I can be up in my room for an hour sometimes, and I'm an early riser. Any ideas? Thanks

i run mine at night all season. in spring and fall i need the light for the heat and in summer i run the lights at night because it is cooler.
anyway i would do a 24 dark period and then resume with 12/12.

Thanks man. I think i will be ok on the heat issue in the winter. Got my room hooked up to my main house HVAC system. I just want to do my gardening during the day on the weekends and when I get home from work. Can't wait till winter! Thanks again.
