Lighting Question

Hey peeps,

What would be a better time schedule for vegging? A 24/0 or an 18/6 rotation? I tried a 24/0 but they didn't seem to take off as I thought they might. I've changed the soil and they're growing a bit better now, so was thinking of changing back to the 24/0, unless given a different opinion?

you might aswell stay on the 18/6 schedule,,,,,plants like a little rest,plus it helps um form good roots,,plus if your using a hid light itll reduce your electric bill abit too,,,,the first few weeks seem very slow when growing in soil then things usually pick up very quickly after that,,,,

u can make it wat u want...24/0, 22/2, 20/4, 18/6...anything works!as long as u stay in the guide lines of 24/0 and 18/6 for veg.as mrskitz sed tho...plants like abit of a sleep tho

Thanks guys. Nah, I'm using Fluro's for the time being until I can buy some grow lights

dude for budding you should put it 12 on 12 off light

but once you start you cant take it off or it will shock the plant.
