Lighting Question!!

Tomorrow im going to start my plants on a 12/12 scheduale I use a T-5 4foot 8 bulb set up my question is should I go 6 red on inside and blue's on the outisde or should I just go with the HO bulbs that came with it Im also using a 95 watt CFL6400k full sprectrum light to so would the blue/cool have any benifits or would I be better off with the regular HO bulbs?? thanks

I would run blue red blue red etc. Makes for a nice even spectrum. Or just run blue for veg and red for flower. I always go blue red blue red for veg and flower and works great
 
well right now I like my veg set up with the 6 blue 2 red for veg so u think red/blue/red/blue would be better then like 4 red 2 blue 2 HO bulbs? o well I figure it out
 
I have the same questions man I'm not sure if I should mix red and blue, or just go all red for flower? I think I'm gonna go 2 red 2 blue with my 4' T5 and then 1 red 1 blue 125 watt cfls on each side, what u think>?
 
also kali have you ever went through the whole flowering stage with T5's and cfl's and if you have were you satisfied with your results? I don't think I wanna use HPS cause it gets too hot and I don't have enough room in my closet, also I am only growing 3 plants at a time.
 
The most important factor in lighting for budding, if you have a decent spectrum, is output. You want to have around 40-50 watts a square foot. So if your HO helps you increase your wattage, I would go with it for flowering. For veg, especially young plants, I try to focus on minimizing stretch. The spectrum leaning towards blue will definitely help keep your plants squat. If you lean towards red, your plants will be more stretchy.
 
my last time Keltch I just did all red and they turned to hurmi's dunno why so I dont wana do that again but ya the CFL's are more then enough to flower as long as got the right stuff it sounds like you do like the T-5 is great I have 600watt HPS and I use my T-5 for my closet about 10º less i was fighting heat like crazy now im at like 76º and at like 65% humidity im straight
