When looking for plant lighting around what nm am I aiming for to veg my plants? What about for flowering?
I hear all this talk about the degree K of the lighting, but that mostly refers to light that we can see. I know plants use light invisible to the human eye and I'd like to get some lighting which has this. Currently I'm looking at a flourescent bulb which peaks at roughly 375-425 nm (12000K). Would there be any substantial benefit associated with this spectrum vs just a regular 6500k cfl?
