Lighting problem with my first grow. Advice needed fellow rollers & growers..

Alright so i'm on my first grow ever & it's been going great so far. I'm on day 6 from seed & she's doing great with a 24/0 26w cool white CFL on her.

Here comes the dilemma, I'm growing with a little help from my girlfriend who lives with me.. Well, all she does really, is support me because she's a smoker too and can't wait for the buds lol but anyways, my girlfriend's mom is coming to stay with us for the weekend next week, when my plant will be ending it's 2nd week in Veg. We live in a 1/1 apartment and I have to pass my marijuana plant off as just another plant i'm growing. (I have 2 purple basil plants)

Will there be many problems if I keep the 24/0 lighting schedule by having my marijuana plant outside getting sunlight during the day and switching back to CFL's inside at night?

This will have to go on for at least 3 days. I've put a lot of effort into this & would hate to hurt my plant or have it die on me noww. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

is it hot outside?? is it summertime?? just leave it outside for the entire time. IMO its a plant, plants are meant to be outside, as long as its not budding season then it should be fine providing the temperature stays up at night time, however many growers like to veg on a 24/0 light cycle me personally like to stick to a 6/18 or 5/19 plants are alive, i think they need to sleep to, the whole idea is to simulate outdoor climates, except you get the luxury of not having to deal with bad weather or bugs or animals.

No, the sunlight will be better then their used to. Please tell me your using more then just 1 26W CFL? By the second week in veg, you'll want more then that. Maybe go with a larger wattage bulb. And as long as you don't give it 12 hrs of darkness or more, it'll be fine.

But on a side note....I wouldn't count on your girlfriends mom being stupid. She most likely will know what it is...

But also be aware that your leaving your plant open to pest infestation. And make sure not to water them in direct sunlight. In the summer months, it will burn the leaves. (You may already know this, just throwin a few things out there, jic)

i thought it only burns the leaves if you get water on the leaves. how would pouring water in soil burn plants in sunlight?
