Hey guys I'm wondering if someone can send me in the right direction as to what to buy. My buddy that was in the electric field passed away so I'm a little lost and want to make sure my tents are safe. I have a 240 dryer plug i can use to plug one in to that's not being used. Is a box made where I can plug into a 240 outlet and run my fluence spyder x plus and a 2nd one down the rd when I set up a veg tent? I'm a bit lost when it comes to electric shit. I used titan brand in the past and never had any problem so I'd like to stick with them. I plan on running only led if that helps any. I know that outlet can take 2 600/700 watt lights easy so I think if possible I'd like to run off that and avoid spending more than i need to. I grow well but am not an electrician lol. Just want to be safe. Thanks in advance. Any info needed I will try my best to provide.

Ok so no one has answered me so I'll give a little more info. I have bought a auto piolet 4 light controler. It has 3 places for wire and I have a 4 prong dryer outlet. Guy at my local shop assured me it will still work fine but I'd like for someone to help me set this up. The dryer outlet works as advertised but am not sure how to wire a 4 prong outlet to my controler that has 3 spots for wires. I will be picking up a 4 prong dryer cord hopefully tomorrow so if there is an election or someone that really knows there shit would help me I'd appreciate it lol. I'm not an idiot and with a tad bit of help I'm sure I can do it. Thanks is in advance. And happy growing!

My 2nd washing machine breaker I believe is 20 Amps so I believe im ok to run my fluence spyder x plus and inline etc of that. But I want to run a 2nd tent soon so that's why I want to wire up the controler to my 2nd dryer outlet in my basement. The dick head that owned the house has 3 outlets in basement lol. 1 15 amp (I think) and a washer machine 20 amp and the dryer outlet so I'd like to use what I have as my mortgage is more important than growing but I want to do both lol. Anything helps!

There are guys here who can go through the electrics but hiring an electrician is an option just to be safe and check the outlets plus ampage etc :-)

My fluence is around 650-660 watts I cant remember at the moment I'm to stoned and light is to far to walk lol. I may buy a fluence (the new spyder x equivalent) and dont think both will be at full power. The old one will be around 50ish percent on a dimmer for veg. And new one in the flower tent. Including fans etc. Small 6" 16watt fans 2-4. 2 Inlines maybe a third split between both tent for fresh air. So 3ish amp prob there (6" hurricanes). The plan would be to run the 2 lights on the 220 outlet (dryer) and all other shit on a 15 or 20 amp breaker. I will turn things on and off and see what runs what and confirm breakers to what they power. I doubt I will ever need more power than that but my women likes a variety and I love growing anything that's green or even flowers for the lady. Any help is greatly appreciated. And thanks for the reply! Happy growing!

Hand watering or most likely blumats in flower tent at least on a float and rez connected to my ro system so not hardly anything in the water dept.if that helps calculate anything.

Ok more questions as I think I am starting to figure it all out. As I said 8 have a 4 prong outlet for my dryer so I got a 4 prong dryer cord 30 amp. My controler has spots for the ground (green) and the red and black (hot) wires. My question is The white wire in the 4 prong plug can this just be capped and cut back and still function as itis supposed to? The in instructions do not state where red and black go so as long as the ground is where it says to put it I imagine it does not matter. Wondering mostly if the white neutral wire can be capped and the controller still function. Thanks for any help anyone can provide. Happy growing!

There has got to be an election that can help me please lol!!! I have a buddy that's dad is an electrician and he said put the ground and neutral (green and white) both in the slot for ground and first slot red 2nd black and 3rd green and white from left to right. I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record but I'm hoping someone can confirm this PLEASE! Someone on here has to be running off a dryer outlet right... happy growing!
