Lighting changes during flowering?

I was wondering if anyone has increased their light time during weeks 5 - 8 of flowering, and if it was worth doing. I understand this does help to add weight, providing you haven't had any problems, of course. Any input would be helpful, as I am in week 4 of flower.

Increasing your light time will stunt the plant and revert it back to vegetation so keep her on 12/12!!
