Lighting and PC fan question?

I want to make a micro grow but i cant' and don't want to connect a bunch of fans to phone chargers. What i want to do is take a single power cord and solder leads onto it so i can make a bar of CFL sockets wired in a series. Then i want to solder on another lead off of the power cord so i can hook up 4 pc fans. I don't know too much about wiring when it comes to amount of power and converting. So could someone please explain how i could have a bar with 3 cfl sockets and 4 pc fans hooked up without using bulky phone chargers as this is a micro grow and i need it as simple/small as possible.

you are going to need to use the phone charger or somthing of that sort because 120 volts will fry your fans

I know thats why i asked how i could. I need to convert it to DC(unless i get an AC fan) then step it down from 120v to 48v. But dont know how
