Lighting advice 5x5

I currently have two 900w philzon LEDS (400w at the wall combined ) I am looking to upgrade since from my reading here does not seem to be enough to flower 4 plants.

I was looking into quantum boards from Alibaba but they are abit outside my budget of arround 300$ CAD.

I was looking at this light which would add another 400w. Thoughts or advice on an alternative would be much appreciated thanks!

Another option is look at led flood lights like this. Flood lights draw what they say they do. I have 2 50w and they pull the 50w as advertised. 65BAD682-7F78-44CB-A929-C6E0D6F253C3.png

I don’t have that exact one it’s just an example
Hey bro, how long have you used one of those for? Do they actually work well? I see they come in a bunch of different options.

I have a buddy that is looking for a cheap upgrade from his blurple leds, seems like it might be a decent option. 5x5 as well

C22838FA-E20A-444F-80AA-55C0BED9EEC9.jpeg I’m using a pretty crazy thrown together setup not just the floods though.
Cost me about $150 all in. 2x3’ area was 2x2 until I got the floods and expanded the closet. I’m not using the side light now as I will be using it two veg two plants and I put my removable wall back in.

I might recommend that light you posted to a buddy. 3000k and 400w actual is a steal for $249. I wonder how long it would last.

Most of them are made of long hours of use outdoors, I’d imagine there going to last a bit at least and shit for 250 delivered to the door it’s a steal.

With 300 cad you can buy yourself a nice cmh

Or if it's watts you want, it's always gonna be hps , by far best bang for buck

Sunstream sells a 945w for 330.00 cad on amazon that would be nice in that space. They are dimmable

You have 3 good options with that budget. CMH, HPS or you can go the diy Led route. All good options. Diy would be my choice and theirs tons of great resources out there to help you out.

I've also seen a company called hortibloom advertising around here. Don't know much about them but they seem to be legit and an absolute steal at those prices.

It's really hard to go wrong with a good ol' CMH.... I found my 315w Visosun for less than 300$, 3k philips bulb included.

Many growers made mistakes when they purchased their LED grow lights. They looked at the power, not PPF. Only PPF and SPD are the key specs you should ask the seller.IMG_20190318_132529_321.jpg mmexport1552139349397.jpg
