Lighthouse Blackstar Ion 8 prototype grow

So I managed to pick up a Lighthouse Hydro Ion 8 prototype 16 spot led light. It has 105 8 watt leds, and draws 8.4 amps at full power. Figured I would do my first grow journal here.
The specifics....4.5x4.5 generic grow tent. Ion 8 led light. 6 inch fan and filter. 2 Hydro farm waterfarm buckets, will eventually do a scrog net. General hydroponics nutes. Grow, micro, bloom, calimagic, and liquid cool bloom only.

I added two Skywalker clones, one to each bucket. We'll see how it goes...

Ion 8 led, prototype, 16 spot.

Dimensions? Width x Lenght, don't care about depth so much...you think it will cover the corner's ok?

What is the actual draw of that beast?

I'm not sure of the actual wattage draw. Probably 8-900. It's 25"x25". I think it will cover the whole area fine.

@Amaximus ...My led is the prototype of the model you linked to. They only made a couple of the big ones for testing purposes, (not for public sale) They came in 4,6,9,12, and 16 "spot" designs. You can find a little info online about them, mainly the smaller ones, although I've never seen a 16 spot ever. I did find out a lot about it by talking to Lighthouse.

How did you come across a test unit?

I have had that same light for 2 years. It is not a prototype it is a production light. Makes awesome buds. use the UV-B light last 2 hours of day. I have done like 8-10 grows with it already and it is a great light but produces an insane amount of heat.

@Yodaweed ...mine does not have the uvb light. The production models have those, and the production models are red, mine is blue. Actually the production model is very different than the one I have. I'll try to attach a picture here.

The one I have has a model number on it, 840fsf.

@Growmau5....that was just an initial pic I took. I have it about 24 inches above the plants now, and running at about 33% power.

@Growmau5 ...I've been watching your videos on youtube for awhile now (diy led light). Pretty awrsome! Have you gone through a full flower cycle with it yet? If so, how did it turn out?

good call amigo, you had me worried for a second.

I have finished several runs under LED over the past year. This current series on my YT is the first one I have meticulously documented for purposes of publishing the results. I'm at day 45 of 63, so Ill have some more results soon.

@Growmau5 Have any thoughts on Stealth Grow's SG602? I have one of those also and will be setting it up soon. But can't seem to find any growers that have used them.

Mine has the same diodes as yours i'm pretty sure. Mine is red in the circles with blueish white cob's.

@Yodaweed I'm not too sure. I think the one with the uvb bulb is rated at 1546 watts? I'm not sure what mine is rated at. I thought there were 105 diodes, 8 watts each. But looking at them closely it appears there are multiple diodes put into little clumps, either 2 or 4 together at a time. So I'm kinda lost on it. Will yours cover a 4x4 area when flowering? How do you like it compared to hps?

There are different models they released, mine is a single unit not the 1546 watt mine is like 456 watts . It covers like a 18x18 area or 1 plant (mainly best for a short indica). Mine has the UV-B light. Here's an old picture of my light growing some pineapple funk.

Nice Looking Grow there! I'm excited to use the led light. I have other grows with hps, but just been looking for other options to help keep the heat down. I have the Stealth Grow SG602 also and will be setting up another tent soon for it.
