Light tight door with air intake for a dedicated room

Hello all, I'm looking for ideas on making a light tight door that vents (for intake). Currently I'm thinking about buying a spare door to modify with an HVAC filter cut into the center of the the door and louvered return air grills on both sides so light exposure will be minimal. The exhaust is already setup in the room and it vents up in the attic and out a vent. Its too hot or cold depending on the time of the year to put an intake from above.

I've read up on how to make the door light tight but I haven't seen too many ideas on a venting light tight door. So anyone have any ideas or modifications to my idea?

I'm no expert at this stuff but maybe think about a light trap of some sort. On the inside of the door, maybe catch all the air in a curved duct and direct the air down. The air can make the corner but light can't.

I forgot and left one part out, everything rolls in my hobby grow. All my plants are on huge dollys (24"x32") in 27 gal sips with 8g reservoirs and I also wheel a 4' long wire cart that needs to get in and out. Right now I have about 2" of clearance total. I guess my solution would be to mount the intake higher on the door and do a light trap. Any ideas for a durable, removable light trap I could hang high on the door?
