light suggestion/question

say i wired this socket(click link) to a piece of 20 amp wire..wire nuted it and added a 20amp plug onto the end and bought a 200-300watt hps bulb..wud dat work?..i got 2 plants right now..

No, it won't work. You NEED a ballast, that item is only the plug that the HPS light plugs into.

dont try it a ballast powers the bulb it has an ignitor in it to fire the gas in the bulb
