Is there any advantage to leaving the light on for 24 hours for veg? and does the plant grow a lot or any if that during the flowering stage? thanks

Honestly, I did it. I kept a 24/0 cycle for 80 some days veggin. No it won't hurt your plant.

However, after extensive reading it seems 18/6 is the way to go, imo. Why because it seems just as effective, except you use less power.

Well from what I know you can grow on 24/7 for veg I use 18/6 for veg if your veg with a light schedule of 24/7 you just veg faster than 18/6. When you flower with 12/12 the plant will double its size by the time its ready to harvest at a much faster rate than it did while vegging.
