Light Question

Anyone have any good or bad experiences with these LED's? I planned on using CFL's for the first 3 weeks and than transfer to my 600W LED but I came across these at the Habitat for humanity store for $3 so I grabbed them up.

Waste of money. If you bought 400w worth of those, for the same price you could get a cheaper 400w HPS setup. HPS will do much better than those not only in quality but quantity.
Luckily I only wasted $3. I'm new to growing and haven't worked with any HPS yet but I'm thinking I will be for my next grow.

Do you think they would be sufficient just for the first couple weeks if they are within 6 inches? The plants I have going now started with my 600W Vipaspectra and they did some serious stretching because the distance between the light and plant was 25 inches. Maybe that was just too far a distance but I didn't want to burn the seedlings.

Useless if used to grow pot......
Lol. They can just light my kitchen than.... what about CFL's for the first couple weeks? My tent is full rig20170824_193713.jpg ht now so all I have is my cabinet. I got a little excited and germinated some seeds too early lol.

I mean you could use a few of them to start seedlings, but you wont get good growth after they sprout. It will be slow. You can keep plants alive though no problem.

I've heard T8 fluorescent lights are ok during seedling stage. Any input on them? I may just start them outside and move them indoors when my tent frees up. Would changing from ouhtdoors to indoors cause any issues?
