light question

might sound like a dumb question, but can 24 hours of lighting from a normal lightbulb replace 12 hours of uv light?

i think i read somewhere that as long as you get like 3 hours of sun light a day then about 12 hours from a normal light bulb it could work, but im not sure

the reason im trying to avoid outside is because ive had bad experiences with everything i plant dying mainly from wind

im sure you can do it. if by normal you mean an incandescent bulb then you are wasting most of the light as the plant cannot "see" it. You will end up with a long stretchy plant with loose buds. Also you might stress the plant moving it between those 2 very different lighting conditions. Look at the grass on a hot summer afternoon, that is how your plant should look. Lots of light
