Light Question

Hey, i recently bought a 18 inch fluorescent fixture with a "cool white" f15t8 i duno if its a CFL or plain fluorescent though...it has 825 lumens, 15 watts and color temp is 4100k. is this anywhere near sufficient for my two plants on their first week?

For the first week...probably. After that...you're gonna need more light.

Keep it fairly close to maximize the light you do have but be careful not to burn 'em.

whats the ideal light to be using? and are CFL's those tubes or those spiral light bulbs?

I see more people using the spiral. I have a nice lighting system and have never used either of the two your asking about. I do keep my clones under tube light for the first two weeks or so, then go under red spectrum light light for vegging.
A good way to learn about light systems is visit a few web sites, companies go to great links explaining why there lights are"better" than the next guys. You can learn alot.
One thing is for sure, in two weeks you will need more light on your plants. Hope this helps and good luck to you.........S
