Light question

I was just looking around and found these:

LU150/MED/CL E26 Base

Anyone every used them before, there suppose to be HPS bulb for a normal socket, they good or a fluke?

Yes, though it does have a medium base that fits into a regular socket, it will not light up. They still need a ballast.

lol, well I got a 3 way lamp could that work for this, it says it goes to 150wtt.
