Light question regarding outdoor grow;

I will be growing 2 x Big Bud, 1 x Sour Kush and whatever germs from 10 x KC Brains Mango seeds, all outdoors. However, I must start them indoors ofcourse. My question is, is 1200 lumens per plant enough light? I think each light is equivalent to about 90-95 watts of power.
Can wait to get these babies started and keep everybody posted! :weed:

Its enough to keep em alive and it will be fine while they r seedling but how long do u plan on keepin them inside

I don't know. When I first started indoors I had was a 125W CFL (7000 lumens) and a hydrofarm hood. In a 2x2 area I was able to keep four in doors for about a month. Your wattage isn't that off from mine, but your lumens are. I'm wondering if you have the right kind of lights. And honestly, I think 125 is the lowest I'd go. I've since up it to 200W for the same area and I still only keep them indoors for 3-4 weeks.

Guessing you will be using CFL's? What is the light arrangement going to be like? One big bulb or a bunch of little ones? Depending how you space things out I think you will be good for at least 2 weeks. I'd look for the 6500K "daylight" CFL's. They are a little bit more money, but IMO make a big difference.

I personally like to use T5 fluorescent lighting for starting seedlings. CFL's will work just fine though.

for 13 plants? might keep them alive but they wont be healthy. going from indoor to outdoor your going to want some good strong plants

Sorry I should have said, I will only be doing 'em four at a time, for two weeks until they are transported to their new outdoor home;P

The lighting arrangement will likely be a few smaller lights, rather than a large one. So for four at a time, is my current situation enough?

I don't see why that wouldn't work. Like drolove pointed out, the bigger and stronger the plants are the better chance they have of surviving. I usually put plants out at around 3 weeks, but I find 4 weeks to be ideal. Good luck.
