light question for shrooms

ok so i pretty much know next to nothing about growing shrooms besides the little information i managed to memerize off a few grow guides.

my question is:

i know shrooms dont need light like a plant but if i were to grow shrooms in my closet (no windows) how much light would be needed. right now i have a t5 6 bulb 2 foot lamp, 1 42w cfl, and 3 26w cfl. would i need the t5 or would one cfl be enough?

thanks

flourescents are all you need! Mushrooms dont rely on light to grow, they rely on it to tell them which direction to grow! I have seen ppl using x-mas tree bulbs!

i have heard that if its enough to read by u r golden. yea, they DO NOT need light to grow like phototropic plants, they just need it to spark the fruiting and tells them which way to grow. natures way of making sure that they dont fruit underneath the substrate.:joint:hope that helps
